LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com)   —  Police in Long Beach are investigating the stabbing death of a homeless man, authorities said.

Officers were dispatched to a location near east Anaheim Street and Dawson Avenue just before 5:30 a.m. Saturday.

When police arrived they found a man with multiple stab wounds.

The victim was unresponsive, said LBPD Public Information Officer Marlena Arrona.

The victim’s identity has not been released, Arrona said.
