Fire Rages Inside Mattress Factory In Florence Area
FLORENCE (CBSLA.com) A fire burned inside a metal-clad mattress factory in the Florence area Saturday evening.
LA County Fire said the blaze went to two alarms rather quickly due to the flammable nature of the materials inside the factory.
The fire is reported at a commercial structure in the 1600 block of E. 76th Street, officials said.
Flames could be seen from blocks away.
Firefighters were said to be getting the upperhand on the fire and keeping it contained.
One injury was reported.
Metrolink is shutting down train service through the area.
