Driver Flees Scene Of Fiery Crash In Norwalk

NORWALK (CBSLA.com) — The driver of an out-of-control vehicle who sparked a fiery crash in Norwalk fled the scene, prompting a police search early Sunday.

The crash occurred around 2 a.m. just east of the I-5 freeway, near Flallon Ave. and Bayla St., where it took crews hours to clean up the aftermath.

Asphalt was left charred, marking the spot where the driver's are had come to rest after crashing into a pair of parked cars.

The driver that triggered the crash fled the scene on foot, wearing a light-blue shirt.
