Possible Narcotics Suspect Leads High-Speed Chase On 101 Freeway
NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Police chased a suspect, possibly for narcotics, on the southbound 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley Sunday.
He refused to yield to officers starting around 8 p.m., leading a high-speed chase on the 170 Freeway in North Hollywood and then onto the 101 into Encino.
That's where he exited the freeway, pulled over and surrendered to law enforcement.
Several officers had guns drawn on the suspect when he got out of the vehicle and ordered him to the pavement.
Police haven't released his identity.
