LAPD Seeks Public's Help In Locating 2 Missing Juveniles

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The LAPD and the families of two juveniles who went missing Saturday are reaching out to the public for help in locating them.

Ashley Montes, 12, and Timothy Jacob Reed, 14, were last seen on Saturday near Mark Twain Middle School in the Venice area of Los Angeles at around 4 p.m.

Family and friends are concerned for their safety, and both families are assisting police with the search.

Montes is described as a 12-year-old female, Hispanic, with black hair and brown eyes, standing at 4'8". She weighs approximately 80 pounds.

Reed is a 14-year-old Hispanic male with brown hair and brown eyes, standing at 5'7". He is said to weigh about 150 pounds.

If you have seen either of these individuals, or have any information regarding their whereabouts, you are asked to contact the Pacific Area watch commander at (310) 482-6334. Call during non-business hours or on weekends should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7.
