Former 'Baywatch' Star Accused Of Stabbing Man With Knife

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  — Jeremy Jackson Dunn, the actor who played David Hasselhoff's son Hobie on the popular 90's era "Baywatch," was arrested after he was accused of stabbing an unidentified man, the LAPD says.

Jackson (he doesn't use Dunn professionally), now 34, bailed out of jail on Saturday, according to police.

His bail had been set at $30,000.

A police source told CBS2/KCAL9 that they were called to Good Samaritan Hospital about a stabbing victim last month.

While officers took the complaint, the alleged victim said he was stabbed "by a 'Baywatch' star.'"

Jackson appeared on "Baywatch" from 1991-1999 and some of its brief incarnations including "Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding" and the video "Baywatch: White Thunder at Glacier Bay."  Jackson has said he left the series (about two years before it was canceled) because of a drug problem.

The stabbing reportedly occurred on Friday, March 24 in the 1600 block of West 7th Street in the Ramparts section of Los Angeles.

The victim said he was fighting with the actor when Jackson allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the stomach, forearm and tricep.

Police did not say what the two men were allegedly fighting about.

Saturday, around 7 a.m., police said they responded to a possible burglary call in the same area.

Officers said they saw a man running from the scene and detained him. The officers on the burglary call also worked the stabbing complaint and believed the man they detained matched the description of the stabbing suspect.

The alleged victim remains hospitalized in stable condition.

In recent years, Jackson has admitted to having had a serious drug problem (steroids, meth) including a stint on "Dr. Drew's Celebrity Rehab."

In 2009, he starred on VH-1's "Confessions of a Teen Idol," with other former poster boys like Chris Atkins of "The Blue Lagoon",
Eric Nies ("The Real World"), Billy Hufsey ("Fame") about grappling with the vagaries of fame.

Last year, he reportedly got into a bloody fight with Paris Hilton's brother at her Malibu house during a party. Jackson claimed he was hit in the face with a vodka bottle.

He was also thrown off the British version of "Big Brother" in Jan. 2015 (after only four days) after allegedly exposing the breast of a fellow housemate while she was throwing up in the toilet.

On his Facebook page, Jackson lists himself as "Entertainer, Host, Public Speaker, 2013 4X Jiu Jitsu Champ, Celebrity Personal Trainer, Physique Transformation Specialist, Life Coach +SillyCacapoopohead"
