BLOOMINGTON (CBSLA.com)  —  A car slammed into a tour bus in Bloomington Sunday evening injuring one person fatally.

The fatality is believed to be the vehicle’s driver.

Gordon Spencer, reporting in Sky9, said it appeared the vehicle was trying to make a turn when it crashed into the side of the bus.

The crash occurred just before 7 p.m. at the intersection of Valley Boulevard and Linden Avenue.

A person with serious injuries was transported to the hospital where they were later declared dead. Another person suffered minor injuries, officials said.

Spencer reported that both San Bernardino County Fire and CHP responded to the scene.
