SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — Police searched for a suspect Friday accused of fatally shooting a 33-year-old man in San Bernardino.

According to the San Bernardino Police Department, officers were sent to Fame Liquor, located in the 100 block of East Baseline Street on Thursday, for report of shots fired with a person down.

Upon their arrival, officers located a victim suffering from several gunshot wounds on the sidewalk in the 1200 block of North Sierra Way.

Paramedics transported the victim to LLUMC where he was pronounced dead. He has been identified as David Lee Love.

Authorities said Love was a self-admitted gang member who belonged to a local Southern California street gang.

No suspect description was provided.
