MONTEREY PARK (CBSLA.com) — Police are investigating a shooting in a California State Los Angeles parking lot that wounded two teenagers Sunday evening.

According to a LAPD spokesperson, a van with at least two males traveled from the downtown area to the parking lot on Eastern Avenue, at the edge of the campus, around 9 p.m.

The suspects were reportedly taunting people in the area before shots were fired.

The victims are described as a 14-year-old, shot in the stomach, and an 18-year-old, shot in the hand.

Both victims were transported to a hospital. Their conditions were not immediately clear.
