Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (March 20)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — This first day of spring feels a little more June Gloomy as we battle the marine layer the next several days.

Look for a similar regime with clouds in the morning and burning off later for hazy sunshine. Depending on the marine layer thickness, temperatures will hover in the low 70s to upper 60s for the LA Basin.

During the next work week, look for some mid and upper level clouds to roll through as a couple of waves of energy move into the west coast. There will be no measurable rain from these systems.

By the middle of the week, the disturbance drifts out, and it will be replaced by what appears to be a very larger ridge of high pressure and an off-shore flow.

This will bring a significant warm up by the end of next week into next weekend.
