LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A man and a woman were taken into custody early Thursday morning after allegedly stealing an ATM from a bakery in South Los Angeles.
The machine was stolen around 3 a.m. near Vernon Avenue and Broadway, according to LAPD Officer Rick Rogers.
The suspects then fled on the 110 Freeway before crashing on the Slauson Avenue exit.
They attempted to flee on foot before they were taken into custody.
No further details were released.
