Estranged Wife Believed Killed By Beverly Hills Celebrity Fitness Trainer Identified

BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities on Friday identified the 31-year-old woman they believe was killed by her estranged husband at his Beverly Hills duplex.

Officials said Jennifer Oda of Sherman Oaks was shot and killed Wednesday by Vincent Maggio, a bit-part actor and celebrity fitness trainer, before he shot himself.

The bodies were found about 4:25 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of South Elm Drive, Beverly Hills police Lt. Lincoln Hoshino said.

The LA Times reported the bodies were found by Maggio's teenage son. A neighbor said the couple separated about three months ago. It was unknown how long the couple was married.

Maggio's celebrity clients included Calvin Klein, Rose McGowan and Mariska Hargitay.

According to her official website, Oda was an actress, model, poet and musician.

She had minor roles in films "Star Trek Into Darkness," "Spider-Man 3" and TV credits including "Parks and Recreation," "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," "Real Husbands of Hollywood" and the role of a lab tech in a TV movie about Jodi Arias, "Dirty Little Secret."

Oda was born in Montreal to Brazilian/Japanese parents.
