Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Feb. 18)

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — The marine layer has pushed inland, but it's not quite as thick as Tuesday. It's running at about 1,300 feet deep, which should translate to a better clear out Wednesday morning and some slight warming.

Temperatures will run about 3 to 5 degrees above average. It's not quite the "summer" weather we've been experiencing as of late, but it is nice (especially when you call any of your relatives in the east or southeast).

Expect minor fluctuations up and down through the end of the week (maybe carrying a degree or two based on the marine layer).

By the weekend, when we had hoped for a little shower activity, the forecast models are no longer in agreement. A couple are still calling for some wet weather while a couple are now turning dry. The persistent trend shows little or no chance for any rain this weekend — in fact, it may warm up a little bit over the weekend.
