Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Feb. 16)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — There is just a little patchy fog this morning. It should burn off sometime before 9 a.m. We will have some cooling today with a stronger on-shore flow.

However, a ridge of high pressure over the west coast will strengthen a bit through Wednesday. That means some warmer temperatures and mostly sunny skies. There will be some early morning low clouds, but with the off-shore flow, it should push out pretty quickly.

All in all through Thursday temperatures will continue to run a good 7 to 10 degrees above average. By Friday the ridge flattens and we will see some more cooling (however temps should still be above average). Over the weekend things change up a bit.

A trough is going to swing through the Southwest and depending on it's ultimate placement, we could see some showers. It's a little early as the forecast models are not in agreement.

It will be cooler for the weekend, however, and you can expect some clouds at the very least.
