Public's Help Sought In Search For Hit-And-Run Driver Who Struck Bicyclist In Riverside

RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — A Riverside man is asking for the public's help finding the hit-and-run driver who struck him while biking Saturday morning.

Magdalena McAdams says her husband, Chris, was riding his now-mangled bike shortly after 7 a.m. when he was hit and the driver took off.

Chris says he was wearing a helmet but suffered a concussion along with a bruised shoulder, and now wears a brace for his broken back, ribs and toe.

"I must've been knocked out right away because I don't remember anything about it," he said, showing his injuries.

A Riverside Police Department spokesperson confirms a report was taken but the McAdams say no arrests have been made.

"He could've died. ... He could've died," Magdalena said. "I think it's inhumane. You don't do that to anybody or anything. You don't even do that to an animal."

They're asking that anyone with information call authorities.
