Iggy Azalea May Sue After Papa John's Driver Leaked Her Number

TARZANA (CBSLA.com) — A Papa John's driver who delivered a pizza to Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has cooked up a PR nightmare for the company.

Azalea may sue after he leaked her phone number.

The 24-year-old rapper said hours after getting the pizza delivered to her Tarzana home, she started getting text messages from the driver's brother.

She says she complained to a Papa John's supervisor but managers were dismissive, so she decided to call them out on Twitter just hours before Sunday night's Grammy Awards.

It's unclear which location she called, but the Papa John's on Ventura Boulevard is the closest to her Tarzana home.

Papa John's responded to Azalea on Twitter on Monday with an apology that makes reference to her song "Bounce."

But CBS2/KCAL9 legal analyst Steve Meister says that last part could be interpreted as Papa John making light of the complaint: "Better ingredients. Better pizza. Bad response to Iggy Azalea."

He also says Azalea has grounds for a lawsuit.

With that in mind, Papa John's may now be trying to rectify the situation. A spokesperson released a statement Monday afternoon that said: "Papa John's has taken appropriate disciplinary action with regard to the employee involved. ... We are reaching out directly to Ms. Azalea and hope to resolve this incident and make it right."
