Source: Family Of Bobbi Kristina Brown Told To 'Prepare For The Worst'

ATLANTA (CBSLA.com) — Relatives and friends of Bobbi Kristina Brown have been told to prepare for the worst after she spent the weekend in a medically-induced coma, Entertainment Tonight reported.

Brown's husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend found the 21-year-old Saturday face down and unresponsive in a bathtub at her Atlanta-area townhouse.

The friend called 911, and Gordon performed CPR before she was taken by paramedics to an Atlanta hospital.

Brown is the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown.

A source close to the family told ET that doctors said the longer Brown remains in the coma the more unlikely it will be for her to regain consciousness.

The source also said the family was discussing possible funeral arrangements.

Bobby Brown released a statement to People Magazine about his daughter's condition.

"Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time."

A police investigation was also being conducted at Brown's townhouse, but officials have found no signs of foul play.

Whitney Houston, 48, was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Feb. 11, 2012. A coroner's report determined the singer drowned, but heart disease and cocaine were listed as factors in her death.
