Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Jan. 30)

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Some very light showers across Southern California have fallen but no more than a few hundredths of an inch.

There's a chance of a few more showers throughout the day but look for generally drying conditions and the sun starting to poke through.

Highs will be cooler Friday as the off-shore flow is not prevalent. By Saturday, look for drying conditions with some gusty winds as the off-shore flow starts kicking in again.

By Super Bowl Sunday, we will once again be in the mid to upper 70s.

Right now, a ridge of high pressure will set up along the west coast, and that is going to keep us very dry for the long term. Temperatures will be warm for the duration as well.

The next 10 days look dry — keep in mind January and February are generally the wettest months of the year and we are not living up to that standard. This becomes a major concern as we are already more than inch below average for our rainfall for the year.
