'KNX On Your Corner' To Profile Burbank

(KNX 1070) — "KNX On Your Corner," KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO's series on local communities, will take an in-depth look at the city of Burbank on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 9am – 7pm.

KNX 1070's team coverage will focus on important issues, historical events, landmarks and hidden gems in Burbank, often referred to as "the media capital of the world." The special programming is designed to give listeners insight into the unique attributes of the area.

As part of its coverage, KNX will bring its remote broadcast operations to The Castaway, a landmark restaurant with sweeping views in the foothills above Burbank. Free appetizers and refreshments will be offered to attendees throughout the broadcast. The Castaway is located at 1250 Harvard Road and free parking is available.

On location will be Frank Mottek, hosting the KNX Business Hour at 1:00pm, and Chris Sedens and Diane Thompson, anchoring the afternoon news from 2:00pm until 7:00pm.
