WEST LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  —  Police on Thursday evening chased a stolen car suspect in West LA.

Officials said three people were believed to be in the stolen vehicle.

After about 10 minutes, the suspect headed toward downtown LA.

Police conducted a pursuit-interruption technique, and the suspect spun out of control.

Authorities ordered the driver and his passengers out of the vehicle.

Stu Mundel, reporting in Sky9, said that two female passengers were ordered out and were lying on the ground.

The driver had his hands up but was apparently pinned inside the vehicle by a patrol car.

He stopped near police headquarters.

Mundel quipped: “One thing, the suspect won’t have far to go.”
