LAPD Officers Shoot Man Armed With Knife In Arleta

ARLETA (CBSLA.com) — Officers in Arleta reportedly shot a man wielding a knife Thursday night in Arleta.

Police responded shortly before 10 p.m. to the 13200 block of West Reedley Street after receiving a report of a fight, according to the LAPD.

Officers shot the armed man around 10:30 p.m. LAPD has not said what prompted the shooting.

No officers have been injured.

The suspect's condition was not yet known.
