POMONA (CBSLA.com)   — Authorities say a 24-year-old Pomona man has been arrested and accused of breaking the windows of several businesses for several weeks.

Rafael Palafox ia accused of breaking windows along the 200 block of South Garey Avenue.

Officials said Palafox — who was arrested Sunday — lives near the vandalized businesses.

The suspect was photographed on security cameras and ultimately identified, police said.

A water store on Sunday found their front window shattered. An adjoining business, Pack-N-Ship store also had a shattered window. A video store in the area had its window busted three times in two weeks.

Officials said the suspect targeted the stores for no apparent reason.

Palafox is being held on a bail of $20,000.
