Police: Teen Gang Member Killed Contesting Injunctions
SANTA ANA (AP) — Authorities said a 17-year-old gang member contesting a gang injunction has been shot and killed in Orange County.
Santa Ana police Sgt. Michelle Miller told City News Service that officers arrived to the scene of the shooting in the Townsend Street Injunction Area of Santa Ana just after midnight to discover no victim.
She said Angel Arellano had been dropped off at the hospital with a gunshot wound in the torso. He was pronounced death at 2 a.m.
