WOODLAND HILLS (CBSLA.com)  —  Seven people were hospitalized on Christmas following a three-vehicle crash on the 101 Freeway.

Authorities said the crash occurred on the eastbound lanes in Woodland Hills near the Winnetka Avenue exit just after 5:45 p.m.

One of the three vehicles rolled over blocking the number one lane, said a CHP officer. The one, two and three lanes were closed for about two hours.

Seven people, including some minors, were taken to area hospitals for treatment. The CHP did not report the extent of the injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
