RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — As the busiest delivery week of the year continues, a number of UPS delivery drivers are making certain holiday packages reach their destinations by delivering them via bicycle.

“I wasn’t sure if it was legit or not, because I keep hearing everything on the Internet,” resident Jennifer Breeding said. “I think of the big, brown truck, and the guys jump out and run up the packages, and drop them at your front door, not on a bicycle.”

One local UPS delivery man, Zach Zangger, is using his bike much like a sleigh, towing a cart that carries six to eight loads simultaneously.
