Police Seek Commercial Forklift Stolen From Rancho Cucamonga Job Site

RANCHO CUCAMONGA (CBSLA.com) — Detectives sought the public's help Friday in locating a commercial forklift that was recently stolen from a job site.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, deputies were sent to the 12800 block of 6th Street during the week of Nov. 12 for report of grand theft.

Authorities explained a 2013 Xtreme XR2034 Telehandler Forklift that was being rented from Ahern Rentals, Inc. by a contractor was left outside of the job site for pickup when it was stolen.

Detectives described the forklift as orange equipment with green lettering and a black cab. The model number reads XR2034ECAC, serial number XR2034121291847, and owner applied number 129309.

No description of a suspect was provided by officials.

Ahern Rentals, Inc. is offering a reward upon the return of the stolen equipment and can be reached directly at (702) 478-1392.
