$10K Reward Offered In Fatal Long Beach Hit-And-Run
LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Friday issued a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the driver in a hit-and-run crash that killed a 20-year-old man.
The Long Beach Police Department requested the public's help for information relating to the Sept. 13 collision.
Daniel Gomez was struck and killed around 12:11 a.m. on Spring Street near Studebaker Road.
During the investigation, detectives were able to determine the vehicle involved in the collision was a 2011-2014 silver metallic Honda Fit. They believe the vehicle may have sustained damage to the front driver's side with dents on the front bumper and hood, a broken head lamp and side mirror and possibly a broken windshield, officials said.
