WESTMINSTER (CBSLA.com/AP) — A Westminster councilman convicted of drunken driving five years ago has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The California Highway Patrol said Andy Quach, 42, was arrested Monday after he crashed a vehicle into the metal gate of an apartment complex and failed a field sobriety test.READ MORE: How To Watch The 2021 Primetime Emmy Awards
City News Service reports that Quach pleaded guilty to DUI in 2009 after being arrested and tested with a blood-alcohol level of .26 percent, more than three times the legal limit to operate a motor vehicle in California.

Orange County Sheriff’s Department records indicate he was being held on $10,000 bail.
His next court appearance was scheduled for Thursday at West Justice Center, according to booking information.
