“So many of these people, almost all of these people, I grew up being massive fans of, particularly Pharrell and Gwen and JLo,” Iggy Azalea told CBS2/KCAL9 Entertainment Reporter Suzanne Marques.

The evening kicked off with seven-time Grammy Award winner Pharrell Williams giving a VIP soundcheck for a few hundred guests.

The venue soon filled up for the sold-out show, hosted by Carson Daly.

And for Iggy Azalea, who is Australian, taking the stage in L.A. was like coming home.

“I’ve lived here for a long time, and I’ve kind of made a home here with my boyfriend, Nick, and so I always feel a little bit like I have the home crowd when I’m in L.A.,” she told Marques.
