Crews Clean Up Debris After Tree Falls Onto Power Line In Eagle Rock

EAGLE ROCK (CBSLA.com) — Crews in Eagle Rock spent the night cleaning up a large tree that fell onto a power line Saturday evening.

The tree fell around 6:30 p.m. on Saxon Drive, taking out a power line and a phone line to a resident's home, both ending up on the street.

Lynne Foringer said the lines narrowly missed her garage and her car.

"I heard a big crack and [saw] a big flash of light in the front yard and then all the power went out and it was still settling as I walked through the front door and saw it," she said.

Foringer said the tree had been damaged by termites.

No one was hurt.
