Man Attacked With Pizza Slicer Inside Supermarket In Glendora

GLENDORA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a 23-year-old man was attacked with a pizza slicer inside a Vons supermarket in Glendora late Friday, and the suspect remains at large.

The incident happened just after 10 p.m. inside the store in the 400 block of East Arrow Highway.

Investigators say the victim was approached by a man, accompanied by two women, when words were exchanged.

The male suspect then grabbed a pizza cutter from the shop and began slashing the victim, police said.

The trio took off on foot and the man was rushed to the hospital for treatment of superficial wounds, authorities said.

He is expected to be OK.

A suspect description was not provided.
