105 Freeway Lanes Reopened After Shirtless Pedestrian Arrested

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Commuters on the 105 Freeway faced a sluggish commute Friday after all lanes were shut down due to a pedestrian walking along the freeway, authorities said.

Authorities shut down westbound lanes after a shirtless man was spotted walking west on the train tracks near the freeway at the Long Beach (710) Freeway, according to California Highway Patrol. The man reportedly had a bleeding hand, deputies said.

The Metro Green Line also saw delays due to the incident, according to officials.

All trains in the area were stopped, officials said. The unidentified man was taken into custody around 8:05 a.m.
