Doctors On Call Wednesday To Answer Prostate, Breast Cancer Questions

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — In honor of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, doctors will be on hand Wednesday evening to answer calls about the potentially deadly diseases.

In partnership with CBS2/KCAL9, Providence Health and Services will staff 12 medical professionals who will be available to answer questions and spread knowledge about prevention, diagnosis, treatment and beyond.

Phone lines are open from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Providence Health and Services, which treats over 5,000 new cancer cases a year, has 40 clinics. 10 urgent care centers, six hospitals and over 3,400 affiliated physicians across Los Angeles County.
