ROSEMEAD ( — California Lottery officials say one lucky person is holding a winning Powerball ticket worth $1,098,624.

The ticket from Saturday night’s draw only missed Powerball number 27, but matched the other five numbers. They included: 37, 6, 1, 53 and 16.

The winning ticket was sold at Rosemead Supermarket at 8815 East Valley Boulevard.

The store is expected to receive a bonus of $5,493, or one half of one percent of the winning amount just for selling the winning ticket, according to lottery officials.
