3 Men Wanted For Impersonating Police Officers, Robbing Canyon Country Home

CANYON COUNTRY (CBSLA.com) — Deputies Wednesday were looking for three armed men who posed as police officers during a home invasion robbery in the Santa Clarita Valley.

The robbery was reported at 3:30 a.m. at a home in the 27600 block of Hermes Lane in Canyon Country, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

Three male suspects knocked on the front door and told a husband and wife they were officers.

They then handcuffed the woman and ransacked the home, taking several unspecified items before fleeing the scene.

The couple was not injured, according to authorities.

The first suspect was described as a bald, 35-year-old man, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, wearing a black suit. He was armed with a semi-automatic handgun and had a tattoo on his right ear, officials said.

The second suspect was described as a 6-foot-tall black male, who was in his mid-30s. He was armed with a silver handgun and was wearing black pants and a white shirt.

The third suspect was about 5 feet 7 inches tall with blonde hair and a goatee. He was wearing a grey t-shirt and black pants.
