Sailboat Washes Ashore On Venice Beach
VENICE (CBSLA.com) — A sailboat washed ashore in Venice with four people stuck onboard, officials said Tuesday.
The boat became stuck around 11:45 p.m. Monday in a sandbar, just north of the Venice boardwalk.
Witnesses and police went into the water to help get the passengers off the boat.
There were no reports of injuries.
One person was arrested for boating under the influence of alcohol or drugs, authorities said.
