Uber In A Helicopter To Malibu Wines Over The Labor Day Weekend
MALIBU (CBSLA.com) — The popular rideshare service Uber announced on its blog Friday the company is offering rides in a helicopter to Malibu Wines over the Labor Day weekend.
The "UberCHOPPER" can transport up to three people on a scenic 45-minute helicopter tour of the Los Angeles cityscape and coastline on its way to Malibu, according to the company. Then customers will take a "Safari Tour" of the Malibu Wines property, which includes wine and cheese tasting, a safari ride and the opportunity to feed safari animals.
Then the trip will finish with a ride back to the pickup location in an UberBLACK.
The experience, which costs $500 per person or $1,500 total, will be available Sunday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Users of the Uber app just need to set their pickup location and request the CHOPPER option on the far right of the slider. Availability will be limited.
