Police Search For Suspect After Freeway Pursuit

WHITTIER (CBSLA.com) — Police are searching for a Hispanic male who fled on foot after a high-speed pursuit along the 605 freeway.

The suspect fled on foot shortly after 4:30 p.m., in a motel parking lot near Pico Rivera.

The motorist initially evaded police on the 60 freeway before to transitioning to the 605.

After a brief pursuit, the suspect got off the freeway at Whittier Boulevard, where he abandoned the vehicle after pulling into the motel's parking lot.
