Angels' Tyler Skaggs Leaves No-Hit Bid In 5th Inning With Forearm Tightness

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Los Angeles Angels left-hander Tyler Skaggs left Thursday night's game against Baltimore with left forearm tightness.

Skaggs held the Orioles hitless before walking off the mound with two outs in the fifth inning. He had retired 14 straight batters before issuing a walk to Steve Pearce. Then he motioned to the dugout immediately after throwing one pitch to Caleb Joseph.

After a quick consultation at the mound, Skaggs headed toward the dugout, briefly gripping his left arm on the way.

Skaggs was replaced by Mike Morin in the game tied 0-0. Morin immediately gave up a single to Joseph.

Skaggs struck out seven and walked two.
