Officials believe Ramos, 36, and Joy got into an argument May 2, 2013, after she told him he needed to move out of her home in Orange.

Ramos’ body was found in Modjeska Canyon off Santiago Canyon Road two weeks later.

During the search for the victim, Joy maintained his innocence and repeatedly talked about his love for Ramos, who he said was his best friend.
