COSTA MESA (CBSLA.com) — A suspected drunken driver struck a pedestrian Sunday in Costa Mesa, police reported.

The pedestrian was crossing the street near the Commissary bar, located at 2968 Randolph Avenue, when the suspect made contact with his vehicle, Costa Mesa police Sgt. The driver reportedly sped off and was later arrested. Police have not yet identified him.
