Detectives believe that Thirasack died as a result of drowning, although his exact cause of death is unknown.

The body was found 20 feet from shore, approximately 30 feet northeast from where the body of 52-year-old Rich Tanovan was discovered Sunday near the sunken boat.

On Sunday, a deputy patrolling the lake was flagged down by a man on a personal watercraft who reported seeing something suspicious, the Associated Press reported.

He directed deputies to the south part of the lake, where they found the bow of a boat sticking out of the lake. Tanovan’s body was found underwater nearby.

He couldn’t be revived and authorities say he apparently drowned. The boat appeared to be undamaged.
