Man Fatally Stabbed On Street In South Whittier
WHITTIER (CBSLA.com) — A 29-year-old man was stabbed to death Friday night in South Whittier Heights area.
Deputies found Israel Lopez lying on a street curb when they arrived around 7:30 p.m. in the 11000 block of Carmenita Road near Lakeland Road, sheriff's Deputy Guillermina Saldana.
The victim was transported to UCI Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, Saldana said.
Officials wouldn't identify the victim until they could notify his family.
Police have no suspect in custody and are still investigating the motive for the attack.
