Simi Valley Man, 41, Arrested On Child Sex Abuse Charges

SIMI VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — A 41-year-old Ventura County man faced child sex abuse charges, police said Tuesday.

On Sunday, Simi Valley police were called out to a home in the 3900 block of Cochran Street to interview a child and her mother.

"It was alleged by the victim that a family friend and neighbor had forced her to perform oral sex on him in January, 2014," Det. Casey Nicholson said. "The victim ultimately reported the allegations after the suspect made several offers to pay the victim for performing sexual acts."

The neighbor, later identified as Sean Hogan, was arrested that day for forced oral copulation.

He is being held at the Ventura County Jail on $25,000 bail.
