2-Year-Old Girl Dies After Being Struck By Big Rig In Lancaster

LANCASTER (CBSLA.com) — A 2-year-old girl was killed after being hit by a big rig Tuesday in Lancaster.

The victim was crossing the street with her mother, who had a baby in her arms, when she was struck around 6 p.m. near Valley Central Way and West Avenue J.

The girl was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The big rig driver was not arrested.

The accident is under investigation.
