Authorities Searching For Teen Who Escaped From Malibu Probation Camp
MALIBU (CBSLA.com) — Two teens Monday escaped from a juvenile probation camp in Malibu.
The boys, whose names were not released, fled Camp Fred Miller in the 400 block of Encinal Canyon at 12:05 p.m., according to Lt. Michael Williams of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station.
While one of the boys was taken into custody, the other was still on the loose, deputies said.
The search for the boy who was still at large was suspended at 6:15 p.m.
The suspect was described as 17 years old, black, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 155 pounds. He was wearing a gray shirt and green pants.
