STANTON (CBSLA.com) — A man allegedly took a machete to his roommate Wednesday in Orange County. authorities reported.
Stanton resident Marco Reyes, 44, was booked on suspicion of attempted murder, Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock said.READ MORE: Kings Lose To Flames 3-2, Markstrom Makes 40 Saves
The incident allegedly occurred around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 7900 block of Hopi Road, in a home where the Reyes and the 49-year-old victim lived.
Police arrived at the residence to find the victim with cuts to his head and upper chest area. The suspect was found hiding in a shed out back.

Police say alcohol may have played a factor in the incident, but investigators still need to speak with the victim.
