Detectives Looking For Victim Of Upskirt Photo Assault At Kohl's Store In Valencia

VALENCIA (CBSLA.com) —  Authorities in Valencia are looking for the unsuspecting victim of an upskirt photo assault at a Kohl's store.

Officials said once the victim's identity can be established, the case will be turned over to the LA County District Attorney's Office.

Detectives said the unidentified victim left the store without making a purchase and might not even be aware she was photographed.

Santa Clarita Station Sheriff's Deputies responded to a Kohl's located at 24200 Valencia Boulevard around 5:50 p.m. on Wednesday.

Deputies said they were called to the location about reports of a man allegedly taking video and photos up women's skirts as they shopped.

Kohl's employees helped detained the suspect described as a 35-year-old from Green Valley.

The alleged victim is described as African American or Hispanic, approximately 30 to 40 years old.  Officials said she was wearing a dress with a black and white pattern ending at the knee, with black boots. She carried a large purse that was brown and tan in color. If you believe the female described above could be you, please contact Detective Campbell at (661) 255-1121.

Detectives said photographs of the female victim and the mug shot photograph of the suspect will not be made available at this time as the investigation is on-going.
