Motorcyclist Killed After Colliding With Motorhome In Anza
ANZA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said a motorcyclist was killed Sunday after he collided with a motorhome on Highway 74 in Anza around 12:45 p.m.
Officials said the crash sparked a brush fire and also stalled traffic for hours between the Coachella Valley and San Diego.
Flames engulfed the motorhome, and spread to nearby brush, after the crash, said Riverside County Fire Department spokesperson Melody Hendrickson.
The fatal crash and fire left Highway 74 with only one lane open to handle both directions, the California Highway Patrol said.
