Westlake High Softball Coach Pleads Not Guilty To Lewd Acts Charges

WESTLAKE (CBSLA.com) — The Westalke High School softball coach facing sex charges in connection with a 15-year-old female athlete pleaded not guilty Thursday to the four felony counts against him.

Robert Garza, 37,  appeared in court Thursday to be arraigned on the charges which include lewd acts with a child and other felony charges.

Sheriff's investigators have said the alleged illegal acts took place off campus and during spring break.

Garza remains free on $100,000 bail and will return to court on June 11th.
